Homework 12.2. House of Cards.
While the assignment (which I developed) was to create a standalone structure, Jane and I decided to stray a little from the prompt and instead create a sort of game with which participants could create their own standalone structure, in whatever form they decide works best!
We chose to phrase this as a "House of Cards," and created little playing cards in Adobe Illustrator, which we then cut and rastered onto balsa wood using the laser cutter. The images on the cards were found online, though we chose modify both the color and the size of the images in order to make them work better with our overall design concept. We wanted the cards to be small and easy to manipulate, so that they might successfully be used to create different structures.
